Beautiful Surakarta Kris Luk 11 Java Indonisia Circa 1890s

A beautiful antique Kris ( Keris ) from Surakarta Java, Indonesia, circa 1890s.

Hand forged blade possibly meteorite with a beautiful pattern & blood lines, this Kris is a Luk 11 which means it has 11 bends.

The wooden hilt is in the same style as the Kris's from the palaces of Surakarta.

A traditional local hardwood sheath with traditional floral carvings.

The collar of the sheath ( Wrangka ) is fashioned in the shape of a boat.

Condition is very good & clean.
